Law School Dean Lawrence Mitchell Is Sued by Law Professor Raymond Ku For Retaliation: Ku Reported Mitchell's Sexual Harassment
http://www.cleveland.com/court-justice/index.ssf/2013/10/case_law_professor_sues_dean_l.html
In this instance, a former law school associate dean, Raymond Ku, has filed a lawsuit against Case Western Law School and its Dean, Lawrence Mitchell for retaliating against his reporting Mitchell to the school's provost, vice president for diversity and faculty diversity officer.
Ku, the University has retorted, has not suffered retaliation, as he is a full tenured full-time faculty at the law school.
I'm sure we all know that even if you still have your position, there are many ways an employee can be discriminated against and tormented, even if they are not terminated.
Without knowing all the facts regarding the lawsuit, it is interesting to see that an informant, not the victim, is coming forward with allegations, and still, suffers the same consequences.

So, You Think You'd Report If You'd Been Sexually Harassed? Think Again.
Reporting that your boss is a sexual harasser is much easier said than done. So the next time you judge the person who didn't report being victimized, think again.

Thomas v. Shavolian: Complaint Alleges He Fondled Her Breast In Interview. What????
There is no doubt that in a decimated job market, employees are willing to tolerate almost anything. After all, they're lucky to have a job, right? Very sad. However, in the below link to the Daily News article, the plaintiff alleges that Shavolian fondled her breasts in her interview. Perhaps she should have filed a criminal complaint after the interview and moved on...
