The athlete and his team owners are all implicated in fostering an environment in which the Plaintiff was sexually harassed.  The team settles.  The player plays, his owners play along, and they buy their way out of the mess they fostered.  But does this system do anything to curb future "bad" behavior?

Here they are: the new owners of the team.  Does the crowd know they just forked over an unknown amount of money to settle a lawsuit agains them for sexual harassment?  Do they care?  Probably not.
