Despite Lynn Wehling's claims of harassment, nothing was done to discipline Chopek. Wehling, a gay detective, claims that Chopek referred to her sexuality and continually referred to her as a "guy," and "dude," including doing so in front of inmates that they were transporting during their work together. In addition, Chopek allegedly commented on her female friends, insinuating that they were lovers, and commenting on the size of their breasts.
So, when this case is settled out of court, who do you think will pay? NJ taxpayers of course!
